Simcoe Hall Food Bank information
Simcoe Hall’s Food Bank provides support for local residents dealing with food insecurity issues.
According to Feed Ontario, in 2022 over 9,100 people in Oshawa used a food bank, with 39% of those visits being made by children. Additionally, 39% of all food bank clients in Oshawa rely on social assistance, which does not provide enough to meet someone’s basic needs.
Today, more than ever our Food Bank plays a critical role to help people make ends meet.
Simcoe Hall is open to receive donations Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Please see the front house if you are dropping off food or other donations during the lunch hour (12:00-1:00 pm).
